Eleanor Mack

Eleanor has nineteen years experience as an economist and executive across the public and private sectors.

Between 2008 and 2016 she was a senior manager for npower, working in corporate strategy and operational transformation. Most recently she led workstreams for the CMA’s Energy Market Review.

Previously she held roles in the civil service as a Deputy Director at HM Treasury with responsibility for competition, better regulation, industrial policy and productivity; at the Department of Trade and Industry establishing the 2005 Energy Review; and as Head of the DTI spending team, also at HM Treasury.

Eleanor started her career at OXERA as an economic consultant before moving to the Office of Fair Trading as it established the first market studies leading market investigation references. She was also seconded to the Cabinet Office’s Better Regulation Taskforce.

She holds masters degrees from Oxford and Warwick universities.
